2025 Formula One Driver Lineups
This is going to be my honest opinion and prediction of the Formula One driver lineups for 2025. Some teams have already announced their driver lineups or have people already on contract for the 2025 season. Silly season approaches and the rumors and whispers of who goes where will increase dramatically as this current season progresses into the summer break. That being said, I am going to try my best to predict who goes to what team. Some of these guesses will be smart and logical while others will be shots in the dark that are based strictly on my bias.
Haas Formula One Team:
Kevin Magnussen and Oliver Bearman.
With Nico Hulkenberg already signed with Kick Sauber Stake whatever the fuck it’s called, now there is an empty seat waiting to be filled. I believe Haas is now over their rookie phobia now that the team is under new management and will be interested with the prospect of a young fast proven rookie in Oliver Bearman. Yes, proven might be a stretch but what Bearman did in Jeddah was nothing short of perfection. He went into a shitty situation mid race weekend at one of the most difficult tracks on the calendar and got a big points finish in his first time driving a Formula One car. I believe he has done enough to convince Haas that he belongs on the grid and they will waste no time bringing him in for 2025.
Kick Sauber Stake Fuckall Formula One Team:
Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz.
Nico Hulkenberg, as stated previously, has already signed with the Stake Kick F1 team and the other seat remains open. I believe that out of their current lineup of Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas, Stake will not keep either driver. This team is planning for the future as in 2026, it will become the Audi F1 Team. I believe that even though Stake technically still has the option to renew Zhou or Bottas, they will end up signing Audi’s guy for the future in Carlos Sainz. Sainz has been tied to this team for sometime now and all of the other whispers of talks with other teams are not going to pan out. Carlos will be signed to Stake for next year and ride it out with Audi.
Mclaren Formula One Team:
Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
Both of these guys are still on contract through 2025 even though Lando is a scum piece of trash that will never win a race but that is a story for another day.
Scuderia Ferrari HP:
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
This is another team whose drivers already have contracts going into and beyond 2025. I have no unwarranted hatred toward either drivers to input in this section. Moving on!
Oracle Red Bull Racing:
Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.
Max isn’t going anywhere or at least not until after 2025. Max’s whole shtick has been that he just wants a car that performs. He has not talked much or shown much worry about all of the off track extracurriculars of this Red Bull team. He is a very business oriented person that does not care about the issues off track as long as the car is quick. The Red Bull car, even without Adrian Newey, will not show trends of regression until after the 2025 season so Max will stick around until then. Now onto the conversation of that second seat. Currently Sergio Perez resides there but I have a feeling he won’t be there for 2025. He started hot at the beginning of last season and had a dramatic fall off halfway through. I believe this season will be no different. Then that leaves an open seat for Daniel Ricciardo to fill. Now Yuki fans will be upset at this but Daniel as of writing this, just smoked Yuki in Qualifying for the 3rd time in a row and is showing his old form. Christian Horner wants nothing more than to put Danny back in the RB seat and with him beating Yuki and Perez’s inevitable downfall, this prediction is a slam dunk. Onward!
Visa Cashapp Venmo Racing Balls F1 Team:
Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson.
Yuki will lose this battle to Danny Ric for the sole reason of his mistakes. This will limit him to this team for another season. Liam Lawson will finally gain a full time race seat where he will in turn beat Yuki proving to the world that Yuki Tsunoda is nothing but MID! This would then be the end of the road for Yuki losing all of his head to head matchups with teammates not named Nyck.
Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team:
Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas.
Fernando Alonso has just recently signed a new contract keeping him at Aston Martin until 2026 so he is set in stone. The next question is does daddy Stroll finally pull the plug on the pipedream that is his son? I say yes. Lance Stroll has done nothing but been a pain to his team and other drivers on track. His father sees the amount of money he is losing because of his idiot son and will do what we all as fans have been begging for and that is cut him loose. This leaves the door open for a prove it deal before Honda comes into the team to provide engines in 2026. This open seat will be filled by Valtteri Bottas who more than likely will not prove his worth and Fernando will smoke him. Lance will hopefully become a scientologist and disappear.
Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team:
George Russell and Pierre Gasly.
George Russell is already on contract for the 2025 season and Lewis Hamilton’s departure leaves an empty seat. Toto has already shown his horniness for Kimi Antonelli but he will wait to see how he does at Williams for a season before bringing him into Mercedes. This leaves the door open for a one year prove it deal to a guy like Pierre Gasly. Gasly is desperate to get out of the dumpster fire that is the French outfit and ready to actually drive a car that is capable of points. Mercedes has that and he will jump at this opportunity. Pierre might even give George a run for his money because let's not forget when he was at Alpha Tauri racing his ass off, he was bringing that piece of shit car into the points consistently.
Alpine Baget Formula One Team:
Esteban Ocon and Jack Doohan.
It is very clear that Alpine values Estie bestie a lot more than Pierre Gasly. We can see this favoritism in a lot of races last year when Esteban was given the more favorable strategies regardless of qualifying position. Gasly also has less attached to this team as Ocon would prob off himself if he was not racing for Alpine and Gasly seems checked out mentally already. Jack Doohan would be the perfect replacement as I think Alpine sees their colossal fuck up with Oscar Piastri and never wants to make that mistake again.
Williams Racing:
Alex Albon and Kimi Antonelli.
As much as Toto Wolff wants this kid in the Mercedes seat ASAP, I do believe he has some sense to let him feel out Formula One for a year at Williams in 2025 then have him join Mercedes in 2026. Alex Albon will die in this Williams seat.
